About me

I am looking for a fall 2025 PhD position. I majored in Automation&Control at Shandong University of Science and Technology for my undergraduate degree from 2019 to 2023, advised by Prof. Xinyan HU from College of Electrical Engineering and Automation. I have received my Bachelor of Engineering degree in June 2023. My research interest includes LLMs, LLM-Agent, VLMs, machine learning and etc.

  • Search-Agent: Our AgentOccam surpasses the previous state-of-the-art and concurrent LLM-based web agent with its observation and action space alignment. We achieve this without using in-context examples, new agent roles, online feedback, or search strategies.

  • AI-Agent: Prejudice-Volatility Framework comprehensively measures discrimination in models by considering both their consistently biased preference and preference variation across diverse contexts.

Open Source Projects

  • GraphRAG: The GraphRAG process involves extracting a knowledge graph out of raw text, building a community hierarchy, generating summaries for these communities, and then leveraging these structures when perform RAG-based tasks.
  • VARAG: VARAG (Vision-Augmented Retrieval and Generation) is a vision-first RAG engine that emphasizes vision-based retrieval techniques. It enhances traditional Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems by integrating both visual and textual data through Vision-Language models.
  • Openvla: A simple and scalable codebase for training and fine-tuning vision-language-action models (VLAs) for generalist robotic manipulation.

Show Older Thoughts - ~~我想谈一谈我对学术的理解,以我目前几年的研究经历来讲,我自己觉得大学(特指中国大陆的高校,其他地方我没有亲身经历过)和工业界各玩各的,好像似乎一点联系都没有。这点我觉得其实很不好,我认为学术研究的最终目的终究是要应用的工业界。推动人类社会的发展,产生新的增量。否则话,或许是自娱自乐吧。我认为读博的动机应该是这样,我信仰某个技术在未来10或者更长的时间内会爆发,我愿意投入5年甚至更长的时间去定义这个技术或者推动这个技术的发展,还有就是工业界存在一些难题,值得你单独拿出几年的时间去攻克这个难题。~~ - China's aging population is growing. About me

I was born and raised in a small town in Yishui County, Shandong Province, where I spent the first 18 years of my life, even though it was not rich. Where are my parents, grandparents, sister and other relatives. Looking back on the past ten years of study road, this way is really hard, from the middle school began to live in school, then to high school, university, and now. Before the age of 18, I was almost obsessed with physics and vowed to become a theoretical physicist. After entering university, I found myself a frog in the bottom of a well. Subsequently, I gradually understand the world, to discover what I believe in, and gradually I am obsessed with AGI, although this road is difficult, I will go on!

Hobbies

I like cycling. I once cycled from Linyi, Shandong to Hangzhou, Zhejiang, a distance of about 800 kilometers. I like running and climbing since I started my undergraduate studies.
